Schedule a Ribbon Cutting or Ground Breaking Event

Is your organization a new member of the Chamber?  Is your business celebrating a milestone anniversary (10, 25, or 50 years) in business?  Have you recently moved to a new location or undergone a major renovation?  Will you be building a new location for your business?  We can help you celebrate with a FREE Ribbon Cutting or Ground Breaking event.  (Please note that Ribbon Cuttings or Ground Breaking Ceremonies are a benefit of Chamber Membership.  If your business is growing and adding an additional location, that new location must also be a member of the Chamber prior to confirming your event.  If you are not yet a member of the Chamber, please join online or give us a call at (806) 373-7800.)

Scheduling a Ribbon Cutting or Ground Breaking

How We Promote Your Event--the FREE Benefits!

BEFORE THE EVENT:

Once your event date & time have been confirmed, we will begin promoting your event in the following ways:

  • Your event and digital image will be added to the Chamber Calendar online.
  • Your event will be added to the Week's Sneak Peek page at least two weeks prior to the event start date.
  • We will create a Facebook Event and tag your business as a Co-Host so that you may share it with your followers and invite your friends, customers, and clients on Facebook.
  • Your event details and logo will be promoted in the "Upcoming Events" section of our weekly Tuesday Newsletter for up to two weeks prior to the event that is emailed to all our members.  Click here to see an example of our weekly newsletter.

AT THE EVENT:

BASIC LEVEL MEMBERS -- (PHOTOS ONLY):

  • Some members of our Round-Up Club (Volunteers in Red Coats) will be onsite to help celebrate.
  • We take a number photos of the crowd, your office, employees, and ceremony part (the digging or the cutting) and share those on Facebook, Flickr, and Instagram, and include the main photo and link to the rest in the Tuesday newsletter following your event.
  • We will also record a short video (30-90 seconds) of your representative talking about your business right before the cutting or digging and air-drop or email that raw video to you at the conclusion of the event for you to use or edit as you want.  (Please note, we will not edit the video or share it on our social media or in the newsletter, as those are benefits of GOLD Membership Levels or higher.  See below.)
