Support Your Community at Panhandle Days 2023
One of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce’s important roles is to continuously examine legislation that impacts business owners and residents in the Panhandle. Therefore, every two years the Chamber travels to our State Capitol with business and community leaders to meet with our state legislators to discuss important legislative issues that affect the 26 counties located in the Texas panhandle.
The purpose of Panhandle Days is to deliver a unified message to our state legislators on important legislative issues, such as the agriculture, arts, education, energy, healthcare, tourism, transportation, and workforce development. The Chamber is currently accepting recommendations for legislation that you believe should be presented to our state legislator at Panhandle Days. The deadline to submit a recommendation to the Chamber is December 2. For more information, contact Jason Harrison at (806) 342-2018 or Jason@amarillo-chamber.org.
We encourage you to save February 20-22, 2023, to join forces with business and community leaders by traveling to our State Capitol in Austin for Panhandle Days. The Chamber will accept registration for the event soon. Event participants and state legislators will attend a reception on February 20 and meet for a breakfast on February 21 before spending most of the day on the Capitol grounds visiting state legislators. There will be a registration fee to attend the reception, breakfast and meet with our state legislators. (The registration fee will NOT include your hotel or transportation expenses. Those are on your own.) If you have any questions call Jason at (806) 342-2018.
