As of Thursday, August 12, 2021, the Amarillo area is operating at Coronavirus (COVID-19) Level RED. The Amarillo Public Health Department COVID-19 Report Card will be updated daily at www.amarilloalerts.com/reportcard.

Free COVID-19 Rapid Testing Kits Available for Small Businesses

If you are a small business owner and would like information about free testing for your business, please call the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce at 373-7800 or email [email protected]. Test kits are FREE to small businesses, even if your business is not a member of the Amarillo Chamber. Businesses wishing to safely and quickly test their employees at their business are required to watch a short instructional video to be certified before testing can begin. Businesses are required to report the test results to the State of Texas through a simple web-based platform. Denise will be able to explain the process, course requirements, and will schedule a time for test kits to be picked up and answer any questions once the business is certified.

Please note, the Chamber of Commerce does not conduct testing at our office, and these kits are for businesses for their employees and not for the general public.
