Arts Committee
 The purpose of the Arts Committee is to promote local and area arts through programs, special events, and financial support. The Arts Committee is funded through the hotel/motel bed tax.
An appointed committee meets monthly to report and work on special events and projects and review financial requests. If you are interested in joining a committee, you may fill out a membership committee application or call
Becky Zenor, Vice President of the Quality of Life Council at 806.373.7800.

- "Arts in Amarillo"

- Community Calendar is an electronic calendar that lists local and area fundraisers and events and assists non-profit organizations when scheduling their events.
- Arts Newspaper Ad - runs weekly from September to May on the back
page of the Amarillo Globe News new Lifestyle Section.
- Golden Nail Awards is a spring gala that recognizes individuals, businesses, and foundations for their generous volunteer and financial support to the fine arts.
- Arts Day Luncheon for the Legislators is held to thank our local state legislators for their support of the arts. The arts organizations are also showcased at the luncheon.
- Financial Assistance to the Non-Profit Arts Organizations is provided by the Arts Committee to assist them in the promotion of their events. This money cannot be used for salaries, operating or travel expenses. You may request a financial request application.
