Event Description: Celebrate Earth Day in the West Edge district of downtown! 10 am to 6 pm Van Buren Street from 7th to 8th Our generous friends at Bohemian Kitchen and Route 66 Amarillo will be onsite, cooking a most excellent lunch...entirely FREE to the public. Shop booths of local artists, artisans, handmade goods, information, creative advice and more. Kids' Car Painting...yes they're going to hand paint an actual car! Live Music Bicycle Joyrides downtown and down 6th Street. Free Bike Repair and Tune-Up UpCycle Art Workshop 4:00 to 6:00 - Bring in your scraps, broken, busted and unused bits of wood, metal, machinery and strangeness, and our team of creatives will help you turn it into a unique work of art for your home. You bring the objects, we'll provide the tools and expertise to make it something new and cool. $35 for the workshop.
