The Amarillo Chamber of Commerce joins other organizations in more than 300 cities to provide data for ACCRA Quarterly Cost of Living Index, coordinated by the Council for Community and Economic Research. The index measures regional differences in cost of grocery items, housing, utilities, transportation, healthcare, and miscellaneous consumer goods and services, which to compare living costs in Amarillo with other cities across the nation.
