The Amarillo Chamber of Commerce joins other organizations in more than 300 other cities to provide data for ACCRA Quarterly Cost of Living Index coordinated and provided by the Council for Community and Economic Research. The Cost of Living Index measures regional differences in the cost of grocery items, housing, utilities, transportation, healthcare, and miscellaneous consumer goods and services, which to compare living costs in Amarillo with other cities across the nation.
